Cumberland Childcare Centre

Bradley Shuya Architect Inc. (BSA) has designed multiple Child Care Studios located at various school sites throughout Vancouver Island.

Recently, BSA has completed the design and construction stage of the new Cumberland Community Child Care. BSA worked closely with the SD71 Facilities team, community stakeholders, and the Village of Cumberland. The project was designed to be either modular or site-built construction procurement. The design is efficient and utilizes durable, low-maintenance, and cost-effective finishes obtained from local suppliers.

The Cumberland Community Child Care new Child Care Studios are designed to accommodate children of all ages including infants less than 30 months. The spaces created are open yet safe giving kids and caregivers a stimulating environment to learn in.
